Welcome to the website of the Disabled Newlife Centre, a Nepali charity in Kathmandu, working with physically challenged children. (DNC) was established in 1998 with the purpose of providing support ot the physically challenged children in Nepal.
The objective is to give these children who required special attention in the growing years with the required care, medication in the form of corrective surgery and support in the form of education and accomodation.
With the help of the Nepali Childrens Trust (www.nepalichildrenstrust.com) land has been bought just outside Kathmandu and we have now started a new purpose built home for the disabled children.
The photos above show the building progress in July 2009. It is hoped that the building will be finished in December and that DNC can move in at the beginning of the school year in March 2010.
